A Plein Air Journey in Provence – May 2027

I am thrilled to announce that registration is now open for my Provence Painting Retreat, May 9–16, 2027.
For generations, artists have journeyed to this remarkable corner of southern France in search of its radiant light, vibrant color, and timeless beauty. From emerald rivers and ancient stone villages to olive groves, vineyards, and blooming spring gardens, Provence offers endless inspiration for painters and travelers alike.
Together we will paint some of the most beautiful locations in southern France while immersing ourselves in the culture, cuisine, and artistic heritage that have captivated artists for centuries.
One of the highlights of our journey will be Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, where Vincent van Gogh created many of his most beloved paintings. We will walk in his footsteps, painting among the olive groves, gardens, and landscapes that inspired his work. Spring is a particularly beautiful season here, with blooming irises, lush greenery, and comfortable temperatures ideal for painting outdoors.
Our home base will be near the enchanting Sorgue River, famous for its crystal-clear emerald waters winding through charming villages, cafés, and market squares. Each day offers new opportunities to paint, explore, and experience the beauty of Provence.
